National emission inventories are, in the international meaning, a set of data informing about the annual emission of individual substances from the territory of the country.
The process of preparing, compiling and reporting emission inventories is strictly defined by international agreements (EU obligations, UNFCCC and UNECE CLRTAP Conventions). It is worth to notice that if new data or methodology is available, then it is obligatory to revise whole reported time series, including historical years – that means that emission inventories are subject to a systematic update process.
Greenhouse gases inventories (CO2, CH4, N2O, HFCs, PFCs, SF6)
Air pollutants inventories (SO2, NOX, CO, NH3, NMVOC, particulate matters, heavy metals, POPs)
